Dirty Water From Storms Will Clean Up Fast

Rains have brought a lot of flooding to the Hawaiian islands this past week. Many of you have probably seen the news with footage of flooding. Dams breaching on Maui, people being evacuated and destroyed homes. Molokai did not escape to floods. Rivers that have not run in years suddenly broke through, bringing mud and debris to the ocean.

This has meant fishing on the flats has been on hold while the water clears. Today I am going to be heading into the ocean to check the conditions and attempt to find some clean water. Certain areas are still holding mud but other areas appear to have cleaned up. Will report back and let you know what I find..
