Stuart lands a monster in pristine conditions. This fish is even large by Hawaii standards.
Brad vacationing on Maui was trying to figure out how to sell the wife on letting him stay another day on Molokai. No go. He waded the shallows and hooked tailing bones. Also hooked a rare large GT on the flats for about 5 seconds.
Bozeman outfitter and guide Stuart Dominick adds another bone to his tally. Conditions on the flats were tough but fishing was great. Molokai was kind to Stuart.
Stuart walked into the “Pig Pen” and found this beauty. Days like this really makes you appreciate being on the flats on Molokai.
Bill attempts to keep the line high hoping to keep his bone from wrapping on a coral head. Some Hawaiian flats are loaded with obstacles and lifting the rod is often no enough. Always great to be connected to one of these Molokai bone fish.
Look for the Green Logs when walking the flats in Hawaii. Most times they will start moving and be average sized Hawiian bones cruising the flats looking for a big meal.

Pristine days such as this are cherished. We usually find some wind in Hawaii and on the flats.
Jeff spent the day on Molokai. He had never caught a bone. Luck was with him and a little skill and he stuck 2 and landed 1.

Idylwilde Hawaii launches at the Molokai wharf, the center of the action on the island.. People come to enjoy the sunset, fish, socialize, see the boats come and go, paddle canoes.
